Why we do what we do?
According to a study 62% of employees dislike their jobs, 23% make others feel the same about their jobs and only 15% love what they are doing as profession. Our experience says this is a fact. Unfortunately, organizations are not at fault, neither are the job seekers. It’s the process, which is hurting us.
We found a big gap in hiring practices followed by companies as well as the approach by employees. Most of the organizations hire based on skill matching and relevant work experience as per the departmental requirements. Despite their best efforts and procedures, HR functions are unable to ensure the longevity of the employee, with the same enthusiasm and performance level at which they join. In less than a year, majority of employees begin loosing connection with their work and mainly with the organization’s vision and mission.
